The Covie Prayer Group is a group of faithful Covie parents and friends who are committed to bringing our school, its students, staff and families before the Lord in prayer. Please come and join us!
Prayer Group meets every Thursday during term time, from 9.00-9.30am in Cafe Covie.
Week 4
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.Psalm 103:12

Prayer Suggestions:
- Give thanks for the appointment of a new school principal and for God’s faithful provision. For Colette Budler and her family as they prepare to relocate from NZ.
- Give thanks for our staff, for their commitment and dedication to Christian education and their love for our students.
- Japan Mission trip returning next week, for safe travels, good health and energy for the team! For their visit to Grace City Church Tokyo on Sunday, may they be an encouragement to fellow believers.
- CSSA Senior Primary Basketball Gala Day on Monday in Cambridge Park, for the hard work students have put into training, a fun & safe day.
- Year 12 Graduation and Formal taking place next week. A wonderful time of celebration for students and families as they have completed the HSC and their time at school.
- Year 6 Surf Awareness Course on Wednesday at Freshwater run by Australian Surf lifesaving, for good weather and safety.
- Pray for Year 1 teachers & students, give thanks for fruitful discussions in class devotions and pray for the assessment period and report writing.

Prayer Suggestions:
- Final week of Year 12 HSC exams, give thanks that students are in the final week and for perseverance to finish strong!
- Japan Mission trip departing on Saturday, safe travels, good health and energy that the team can serve Jesus well. Prayer for: Be One Church in Osaka, who they will gather with on Sunday.
- Kamei school who they will visit, and revisit relationships built whilst Kamei students were at Covie,
- Grace City Church Tokyo who they will visit on the second Sunday.
- Makito and the ministry of Samurai Projects, a ministry apprentice program in Japan.
- Prep & Kindy 2027 Orientations taking place next week. For the teachers as they prepare to welcome their new classes. Children and parents to feel welcome and to make connections with other families.
- Year 10 PDHPE incursion, The Biting Truth on Tuesday. An informative workshop on nutrition and healthy eating habits, and understanding the risk of following social media trends
- Year 3-6 Debating Workshop at Camp Kedron on Wednesday, a productive day for students as they learn and develop valuable public speaking and debating skills.
- Year 9 Exams taking place next week, students to be diligent in preparing for exams and understanding as they tackle each paper.
Prayer Group meets on Thursdays @ 9-9.30 am in term time at Covie Café. All welcome

Praise God for His abundant love & grace!
Prayer Suggestions:
• Recruitment of a new School Principal, wisdom for the board throughout the process
• Those suffering ongoing health concerns/illness, for complete healing and recovery.
• Year 12 HSC exams, for good health and good sleep, God’s peace & perseverance.
• Year 12 (2027) Parent Information Evening on Monday, for strong, positive connections between parents and school as they support students through their HSC.
• Primary North Met Basketball Gala Day on Monday in Castle Hill, for good weather, a fun day of competition & great sportsmanship
• Year 5 Health/Puberty night on Wednesday, for an informative evening that provides parents with helpful tools to have open discussions
• Year 10 Exams taking place next week, students to study hard, to not be anxious, to understand their exam papers and to recall all they have learnt.
• Kindy teachers & students, planning for next year, for new students and friendships for all

Prayer Suggestions:
- HSC Examinations, health rest, clarity & peace for 2026 Year 12
- For Year 6 as they do High School Orientation, peace & excitement for changes ahead.
- School tour next week will be well attended
- Future Problem Solving Nationals Conference in Melbourne this weekend, safety, good teamwork, enjoyment, logistics and planning for a big group.
- North Met Zone Touch Football Gala Day on Monday at Lionel Watts Oval, for good weather, a fun day of competition and great sportsmanship.
- Year 6 AAS Testing on Tuesday provide an accurate reflection of each students’ abilities, God’s peace for anxious students.
- Pray for Prep and their teachers as some prepare to transition to Kindy and upcoming Prep Orientation for new students.
